Mr. King always carries dog snacks for him in his shirt pocket, and he has learned to stick his nose in and get one. When asked if he's spoiled, he rolls over as if to say, "Yes, I am!"
His favorite thing in the world are Mrs. King most delicious chocolate chip cookies. He always seems to know when a batch is being made and inside he comes, because he will get a little dough before and one after they're done.
The story begins when he's adopted at six weeks old and ends when a year old.
